Current State Of Mind

I haven’t been exactly happy the past couple weeks for political reasons. For sometime now, actually a couple of years, I have disengaged from reality. My reasons are valid however. The last time I followed closely at world events was during the 2007 highly contested presidential elections in Kenya, which unfortunately left my stomach churning due to the turn of events.Unfortunately lately, it’s been difficult to look the other side. The world is in utter confusion and humanity is mixed in all the chaos.
I will focus mainly on the shootings that have left our mouths agape and for most of us outraged. The precious souls of Treyvon Martin, Eric Garner, Micheal Brown and Tamir Rice have forcefully made each of us engage in dialogue for which I will applaud. Then aside from that, our leaders at the forefront I expect will come up with solutions relevant to the times.
If anyone asks me, I think I know where it all went wrong, we simply forgot to love our neighbors as ourselves.Race is an issue we as a people will need to get over really fast because we have existed alongside one another for centuries.
I will close with this quote. “Love is the emblem of eternity; it confounds all notion of time; effaces all memory of a beginning, all fear of an end.” GERMAINE DE STAËL

Lovenda.
